Review:
My own add-on creation of the Star: CHARA (Beta Canum Venaticorum).
Chara is a northern star that vaults the heavens in northern spring, "Chara" from Greek meaning "joy." Chara's most interesting aspect is its similarity to our own sun. It is a warm class G star with a temperature of 5860 Kelvin (only 80 degrees hotter than the Sun), a mass only four percent smaller, and a radius but four percent larger, though it is 25 percent more luminous.

Chara star information

Although the star information is factual the celestial bodies and everything else about this addon is fictional. As usual I wanted a real star with a habitable zone to base my system on. For the planets and moons I was able to create increadble realistic textures with LunarCell, a Photoshop plugin. This add-on only has four planets but has plenty of beauty to explore. This package is more then just celestial bodies, it's complete worlds with new ships, stations and bases. All the bases include VOR stations with navbeacon transmitters and  many of the bases include sky cams. Space stations include fuel tanks for refueling when docked. The FuelMFD add-on is neccessary to take advantage of this. To add to the beauty the planets include the Orbiter 2005 atmospheric haze effects and surface meshes cast shadows.

The Vessels Thunder and Viper were modeled by my son Luke Harm.
